Dock Leveler Seals
Pit Leveler Seals

Pit Levelers often need leveler seals to keep the cold and bugs out.  This is because even when the plant is closed, the space under a dock leveler is open. If the sides and back of the dock leveler are not sealed, rodents, insects and air can easily enter the plant. Our specially designed brush seal kits are designed for most loading dock levelers.

Seals for Dock Pit Levelers

Please take a couple of minutes to learn what information is needed and how to take the Dock Leveler survey.

When you install a Loading Dock Supply brush seal kit on your dock leveler, a constant barrier is maintained over all exposed gaps, no matter how uneven the surfaces involved.  The rear gap (left), inside the door, is sealed at any level.  The side gaps in the outside the door (right) are similarly closed to entry by constant application of the nylon brush material.  The overhead door is sealed as shown.

Our type 6 nylon brush seals are recommended for food processing and handling facilities.  They are U.L. Rated as "Gasketing Material for Fire Doors" (viable from 100 degrees F to =350 degrees F).  This product is made in many sizes and shapes to secure nearly any building entry point and your energy savings alone will likely repay your investment in one season!
